In this article, the Improved Mayfly Algorithm (IMA) is used as an upgraded form of (MA), featuring simulated binary crossover and polynomial mutation operators replacing arithmetic standard distribution MA. With MA, IMA's achievements significance are acknowledged. The algorithms achieve a final best solution for investigated objective functions optimal power flow problem in deregulated electrical market under different load conditions. overall system varies between half base (-50%) twice (+100%). associated with financial worth generators, dissipation active transmission lines, variation voltage magnitudes at bus, stability index bus networks. result achieved by GA, PSO, MA IMA attained using IEEE-30 test system. Investigations conducted on solutions each function; offers generators bids loads; generator sales purchases; revenues scenarios. outcomes have confirmed that would triumph over PSO
